Hello World!

Ok, for my first post, I'm gonna blitz away with a quick review of a place in Miri. This place specialize in burgers, sandwiches & sliders.

This place is called 98K Meat and Bread, located nearby Parkson shoplots, easy to find.

I got to have lunch with my colleagues, since we did not have any idea of where to eat, plus out of courtesy, we have Muslim colleagues among us, well... it was a bit challenging...

Pics below..

I had the beef dip sandwich

One of my colleagues ordered cheesy meatballs

My Beef Dip Sandwich..

Well, first of all, I apologize for not taking pictures of the whole shop, its interior..etc as we were pressed for time, I totally forgotten about it. Anyways, don't be fooled my the picture, my sandwich is actually not as big as which it should be, the sandwich bun was handmade, but I would prefer if my bread was warm. Actually the whole sandwich was not warm at all, don't get me wrong, I am not saying it was cold, but it was room temperature at its best.

The dipping sauce was a bit disappointing, I was expecting for a thicker, savory sauce but as you can see in the pic, it looks more like a "soup" or "broth".

On a positive note, the shredded meat was soft and well flavored, although a person like me would love a tad more flavoring.

The cheesy ball as also, at room temperature. I cannot tell what cheese they used, the meatball was bland.

I am just writing from just my point of view, since I have only tried one menu I believe some of you guys reading here may beg to differ. And I believe they may have some other appetizing dish which I have not tried yet.. sorry, not offending anyone!

Anyway, I look forward for another visit in the near future... probably I'm gonna try something else. Can someone give any suggestions?
